Women in Chemicals, a global community of female identifying individuals and allies in the chemical industry with a mission to create and identify opportunities to empower women in chemistry, has named Oluwaseun O. Ajayi their 2026 Woman of the Year. Ms. Ajayi is a PhD student in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Georgia, specializing in bioanalytical/materials chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Rob Phillips. She is one of the youngest finalists ever to receive this award.
