So... What do we DO?

The UGA Student Affiliates chapter of the ACS was founded to promote exchange between students studying chemistry and other sciences at the University of Georgia. Another goal of this chapter is to provide outreach to the community through volunteer projects in schools and to participate in National Chemistry Week activities each year. 

Any student studying chemistry, biochemistry, or another science at the University of Georgia is eligible to join. The membership dues are ten dollars per year and some activities may require extra fees. 

We also have a listserve that will allow you to receive e-mail concerning club news, upcoming events, and meetings. If you would like to subscribe to this listserve click here.

We have 55 members in 1999. If you would like to join the University of Georgia chapter of SAACS, please contact us at  ugachemclub@hotmail.com .
