Glass Shop

The Department of Chemistry houses a Glassblowing Shop that employs three excellent full-time glassblowers. Design, construction, and repair of any type of complicated glassware for research is handled expeditiously by this facility. Micro-distillation apparatus, condenser tubes, diffusion pumps, and quartz combustion tubes are just some of the types of items that are made routinely in the shop.
