Chemical Analysis

The University maintains a Chemical Analysis Core Facility. Here samples can be analyzed for their elemental and molecular composition. The facility maintains several state-of-the art instruments for chemical analysis, including an ICP mass spectrometer, two atomic emission/atomic absorption (AE/AA) spectrometers, a total organic carbon analyzer, a CHN analyzer, and a gas chromatograph with electron capture and nitrogen/phosphorous detectors.
